Academy Award Nominee Actor Ryan Gosling was born in London, Ontario on November 12th, 1980.

At the age of 12, Ryan attended an open audition in Montreal for Disney Channel’s The Mickey Mouse Club. He landed the spot and signed a two-year contract and moved to Orlando Florida. Fellow cast members of Ryan’s included Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

Gosling received mainstream attention in 2004 staring alongside fellow London native Rachel McAdams in the romantic drama film The Notebook. The film grossed over $115 million worldwide, decorating Ryan with four Teen Choice Awards and an MTV Movie Award.
