Often regarded as one of the greatest hockey players to play the game, Sidney Crosby was born and raised in Cole Harbour.

 

Crosby has played over 1000 NHL games, achieved 1000 points, won three Stanley Cups, two Conn Smythe Trophies, Three Ted Lindsay Awards, two Hart Memorial Trophies, two Art Ross Trophies, Two Maurice Richard Trophies, one Mark Messier Leadership Award, and a staggering two Olympic Gold Medals just to name a few accomplishments.

Sidney Crosby is very active in Cole Harbour running a hockey school in the summer and creating the Sidney Crosby Foundation.
