Established in 1841, the Huron Historic Gaol served as the County Jail until 1972, housing inmates committing crimes from misdemeanours to criminal convictions.

Now open to the public for a small admission fee, the Huron Historic Gaol has been restored to its Victorian state, offering walking tours of the building for people of all ages.
