The Jet Stadium is home to an elite high school baseball program. The Stadium’s history goes back to 1956, when it was built by the Vauxhall Jets. The Jets team had entered one of the best amateur leagues in Southern Alberta in the early 1950s and won several times. They soon progressed to the Provincials, where they reached the finals twice, winning in 1956. Today, the stadium continues to be a place for many talented young individuals who are passionate about the sport of baseball.
