Jones Creek Trails is a group of beautiful, scenic hiking trails through the 1000 Islands. All of these trails are relatively flat and appropriate for beginner hikers, families, and children. The scenery is unique, with different trails offering different marshes, forests, and wetlands.
Within the Jones Creek Trails are two distinct sections: a “lower section” and a western section of trails. The “lower section” consists of 3 looped trails, the Bear Loop, Heron Loop, Turtle Loop, and Eel Loop. Each of these loops is less than 1km long and takes approximately 20 minutes to hike. The western section consists of two trails: Hawk Loop and Wolf trails. These trails are connected and are a combined 7.8km long.
