Kaumanik means “An area of light, e.g. before the dawn or a light area in the dark water which allows you to see the seal.”

This adventure tour is an indigenous guided tour that takes you along nature and community in Southern Labrador. The brief town interpretation tour spanning about 20 minutes includes coffee/tea, bread and jam at Campbell’s place, a local restaurant.

Another available tour is hiking. A guide takes you through 4km of forestry to the top of the town.

This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and the surroundings truly.
