Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge

The longest Canadian freestanding timber frame bridge is located in Golden. This bridge was built in 2001 from timbers that were locally sourced with a Swiss design showing the heritage of the Swiss guides. 

The bridge is over a 46-meter-wide river. The Timber Farmers had over 100 members worldwide to help raise the bridge. 

This bridge is an iconic landmark in Golden, British Columbia.
