History

Kiixin is a designated National Historic Site in Canada. It is the last known traditional First Nations village on the west coast of British Columbia. Kiixin features historical and archeological architecture representative of the culture, practices and occupation of the Huu-ay-aht people of the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nation for nearly 3000 years.

Kiixin offers a tour to educate guests on Huu-ay-aht’s history and Indigenous culture in the region.
