Kings County Museum

The local museum is run by the Kings County Historical and Archival Society, a non-profit organization that spreads the history of Hampton. The museum exhibits the town’s history, genealogy research, artifacts and heritage documents. The exhibitions include a fireplace mantel from Ryan’s Castle, Queen’s Jubilee, past typewriters, Indigenous artifacts, and more for you to discover!

Additionally, you can visit the County Gaol jail next door and explore the time through the environment and artifacts found within. They also have a bookstore, where visitors can purchase books on the extensive local history. Visit Kings County Museum to learn about the culture of old Hampton!
