Parc Marie-Victorin

Discover Marie-Victorin’s hometown and a beautiful garden dedicated to him.

Frère Marie-Victorin (born Conrad Kirouac) was a member of Brothers of the Christian Schools and a noted botanist. He is known as the father of the Botanical Garden of Montreal.

He was born in Kingsey Falls in 1885. A self-taught botanist, Frère Marie-Victorin was the first chair of botany at Université de Montréal and founder of the Institut de Botanique.

The Montréal Botanical Garden was founded in 1931.

In Parc Marie-Victorin, nature is brought to life with giant 3D monocultures and giant metal insects made from recycled materials. Explore six theme gardens on a self-guided or audio-guided tour. Participate in activities and original tastings in their tropical greenhouse, learn about botany, or explore more!

Théâtre des Grands Chênes

The Théâtre des Grands Chênes is a must-visit in Kingsley Falls as they continue to expand their offer with shows throughout the year starting November 2022. It was recognized over the years for its summer theatre, which Marcel Leboeuf and his team built.

The company’s goal is to provide people with a place to gather and get out of their daily routines. And to expose our region’s residents to new artists and reputable artists who are well-known.
