Located on the edge of Prince Rupert’s harbour in Rotary Waterfront, the museum provides an exciting journey into the history of Canada’s northern railway and the many small stations like Kwinitsa along its route.
The little white station was built in 1911 close to the Skeena and Kwinitsa Rivers’ intersection, around 75 km east of Prince Rupert. In 1985, the station was moved by canal boat to its current area.
A late spring display appears what life resembled for rail route station masters and their families in the early piece of the twentieth century.
