La Petite Anglican used to be a Protestant chapel but is now a museum illustrating the history of Forestville.
The museum offers two other permanent exhibits in addition to some thematic exhibits. The first, located in the Rachel-St-Louis room, deals with the construction of the hydroelectric power stations in the area, as well as St-Maurice de Labrieville, a village built to house the workers of this huge construction site. The second permanent exhibition tells the story of the fire guards and shows the tools used by these workers in their fight against forest fires for over 50 years. The Desjardins Room is an exciting stop in the museum for those who want to discover the history of Forestville and its pioneers in pictures.
Artifacts dating back 3,500 years testify to the Amerindian presence on the territory. The museum offers guided tours on the reservation, including special tours for seniors and people with visual and/or hearing disabilities.
