Lac Davignon

08

This lake was artificially created in 1969 to have a permanent water source in Cowansville, taking its water from Rivière Yamaska.

Many water activities can be done on the lake. However, motor boats are not allowed. Some activities allowed include swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and more. A Committee was founded in 2007 to protect the lake’s natural habitat and clean water. Although human hands don’t pollute it, a few destructive aquatic plants have tried taking roots in the lake. Despite this, the lake is a gorgeous local attraction and a sight to behold for visitors.

Come sightseeing on the Lac Davignon and enjoy some water activities!
