Érablière St Germain

A classic tradition is to eat sugary treats in Quebec. This place is famous for what they call sugar shacks—the tradition of placing boiling syrup on snow and wrapping it on a stick. Locals highly recommend the shop, citing a welcoming environment and superior products.

Also, they allow you to work with them when hosting an event. It is a unique space. Not only do they serve their sugary treat, but they also run an open dining room where all are welcome to enjoy a country bistro meal. Overall, if you want a taste of the culture and welcome warmly, come here!

Borefüge

Okay, now everyone doesn’t like to get their hands dirty when enjoying the outdoors; there is no shame in that. The perfect remedy for these people is this place. It offers a form of what they call glamping where you can still enjoy the region’s beauty from the comfort of a lodge with amenities. The lodge is beautiful and styled in a rustic manner to further show the area’s beauty. In addition to regular camping activities, you have the chance to go dog sledding and to snowshoe here! Whether summer or winter, you will have a great time camping with them.

L’Ange-Guardien Town Hall

The town hall allows visitors to see the workings of the city and how it has grown over time. It is open to the public and houses plenty of information about the city and where to go for certain things. Although it seems mundane, the building offers an appreciation to visitors about the history of L’Ange-Gardien and the life within the city. Even if you stop in for just 10 minutes, I guarantee you will learn something valuable about the town. Overall, if you really aren’t sure what to do in the town, a good place to start is by visiting the town hall, a focal point of the town’s history.
