Le Shack a Joe

08

Founded in 1963, Le Shack a Joe is named after the original owner, Joseph Duguay, a well-known character in the Acadian peninsula. This quaint restaurant serves up fast food favourites to thousands of locals and visitors.

Their extensive menu includes fried chicken, fish and chips, poutine, sandwiches and even a dairy bar with soft banana cream.

In addition to their fast and courteous service, they are most famous for their potato wedges, which are made by hand every morning.
