Zoé Vallé Memorial Library
The Zoé Vallé Memorial Library is a heritage library, the oldest community library in Canada, still operating as it was founded in 1928.
The Lightfoot Tower on the grounds of the Zoé Vallé Memorial Library in Chester, Nova Scotia, was built around 1904 by American attorney Alfred Ross Lightfoot to understand sailing activity in Mahone Bay better.
