The exhibition, “Because of a River,” can be found inside the historic house constructed in 1804. Once you enter the world of this exhibition, it will feel like you went back in time to a summer day in 1909. On this day, you will explore the house, bridge, farm, and river, allowing you to truly feel what life was like for the locals during this time.
From the Déry Site—just a short drive from Neuville—you can also access the Jacques-Cartier Promenade, a 4.6 km trail along the river. The land is mostly flat, so it is considered an easy hike—and kid-friendly!
