Maryboro Lodge Museum

04

Recommended by Anita Goncalves

Maryboro Lodge is an interactive community museum in the historic home of James and Janet Wallis. James Wallis was one of the founders of Fenelon Falls. He selected this location for his home in 1837. Maryboro Lodge was one of the earliest houses on his scale in the village and is the oldest to survive.

The museum offers a well-maintained history of Fenelon Falls. Take a look at the historical archives, showing the construction of Lock 34 and the communities living in Fenelon Falls from decades past.
