This cottage dates back to the 1800s but is believed to be on land that was bought in the late 1700s.
The land bought was intended to be divided into smaller lots for homes to attract Scottish settlers to Canada. This cottage was home to many for hundreds of years and then was purchased in 2002 by the City of Cambridge and the Region of Waterloo to become one of the Region of Waterloo museums.
Admire the architecture and learn more about the history behind it.
The cottage is located in the heart of downtown Cambridge.
