In this reserve, there are 7 kilometers of walking and cycling trails. Some of the trail is mowed grass while others are gravel, wood or hard surface.

There are 11 trails to choose from though many link together. These trails were designed specifically for the visually impaired. Throughout the trails there are many information booths, viewpoints and picnic areas.

The reserve is home to over 400 different varieties of plants, trees, shrubs and wildflowers. The park is also home to many native birds, fish and mammals that can be seen year round.
