Not only can you find alcohol at the McLennan Liquor Store, but you can also catch sight of one of the few remaining murals in the town. On the side of the liquor store building facing the street is a mural depicting an early 20th-century train and station.

The mural illustrates a major element of McLennan, as the town is the hub of the Northern Railway and has also been regarded as a Transportation Town.
