Metchosin Schoolhouse Museum

Metchosin Schoolhouse is the first school building opened in British Columbia after the confederation. The school was opened in 1872 and reopened over 100 years later in 1972 as a museum. It is one of the oldest heritage-driven artifacts with a deeply rooted support system within the community.

The Broken Paddle Coffee House is a local coffee shop at the heart of Metchosin. The shop uses local ingredients whenever possible. They offer freshly baked goods, drinks, and light lunches.
