This mill is one of Ontario’s oldest and still operational water-powered wheels. This three-storey mill was built in 1845 and had been used to mill flour and grain. Farmers would also bring their cattle to the mill weekly to feed.
This mill is surrounded by a beautiful meadow and overlooks the Otter River. It has been known by many names, including Otterville Mill and Teffry Mill. An annual barbeque is hosted at this site every year!
