OutdoorSelfie Spot

The last spot on our list of must-visits is the tall, striking and mighty Monarch Mountain! Monarch Mountain officially started as a ski area in 1939, although people had been skiing the mountains surrounding the valley for as far back as 1914.

This 6.4-kilometre out-and-back trail is a challenging route perfect for hikers who love a rise in adrenaline! The trail is well paved for hikers and pets to ensure clear routes all year round, surrounded by tall pine trees and elevated rocky terrains. This one is a picture-perfect trail!

The mountain offers scenic views of Atlin Lake and Teresa Island, and some facilities included on the trail is a wheelchair-accessible parking lot to ensure safe parking. Make sure to visit this serene location next time you are in Atlin.
