Narrating the history of Nova Scotia’s railways, Musquodoboit Harbour Railway Museum is a heritage hub in the community. Built in a restored Canadian Northern Railway station from 1918, this one-storey museum houses many exhibits, an information center, a gift shop, a food truck, a beer garden, and an ice cream stand beside its picnic area. Exhibits display things like posters, tickets, maps, photographs, a snow plow car and a mail crane.
The building symbolizes history, representing twentieth-century railway station designs—an excellent site for all history enthusiasts.
