The Net Loft Museum is Rigolet’s very own registered heritage Museum.
Initially built in 1876 by the Hudson Bay Company as a fishery, the building was restored in 2001 using the same materials and procedures to maintain the authenticity of the old facility. The Museum houses all sorts of fishing equipment, old and new users to catch the famous Rigolet salmon. The tools include floats, nets, ropes, grapnels and twines!
Whether you’re a fan of history or fishing, the Net Loft Museum is sure to satisfy your curiosity.
