Founded in 2007, this is a fantastic little shop to visit if you are interested in Inuit art. They sell various carvings, prints, pictures, wall hangings, jewelry, traditional dolls, seal skin mittens (pualuk), bags, jackets, and artist tools and accessories.
The owner is friendly and knowledgeable—you will learn so much about traditional Inuit craftsmanship, and you will have no trouble finding a bunch of potential purchases. Be prepared to ooh and aah… and to leave with your hands full. Your loved ones will thank you for the unique, gorgeous gifts—and you will thank yourself for your new insanely warm mitts.
