Construction of this Roman Catholic church in Lorette in the Rural Municipality of Tache began in 1894 and it opened in 1900. Renowned artist Louis Monty spent two years of his life, from 1900 to 1902, decorating the church with beautiful paintings.

The first burial in an associated cemetery occurred in 1873.

Church offers services in French and English.
