Nova Scotia’s largest zoo, the Oaklawn Farm Zoo, was inaugurated in 1984 and housed various exotic, local and domestic animals. Set against a typical farm setting, the 50-acre zoo takes pride in its fair practices in providing shelter and care for endangered species. They offer an educational and personalized nature driver experience for visitors of all ages.

Open daily, from April to November, the zoo is also home to a restaurant, picnic area and souvenir shop. The most notable activities here include visitors feeding animals like deer and goats and meal time for the big cats and bears. Visit today for a memorable rural adventure!
