The Old Seed House Gardens is a 1.8-acre public garden honoring the legacy of the Dominion Seed House in Georgetown. It features formal gardens, meandering pathways, a dry stone riverbed leading to a naturalized pond, and a walled garden next to the famous mock Tudor Dominion Seed House building. The area has vibrant daffodils, forsythias, lilacs, heritage peonies, magnolia trees, and countless other plant species. The garden is well maintained all year and regularly changes with other types of flowers.
The Old Seed House Gardens is excellent to check out any time of the year. Walk down the paths, bring a book, pack a lunch, or sit on one of the many available benches to enjoy the heartfelt scenery.
