Home takes on a new meaning at Orchard Home Farm, a family-run apple and pear orchard that opens annually from August until October. There is no admission fee, bags are provided, and all the fruits are grown on dwarf and semi-dwarf trees, so guests can easily pick whatever they want!
Their picking selections include Gala, Red Cort, McIntosh, and Bartlett Pears. If you’re not in the mood to pick your fruit yourself, however, the 80-acre orchard farm also has a market where you can buy ready-picked fruits, including Bartlett Pears and Gravenstein and Dolgo Crab Apples. You can also pick up a few other market items while you’re there, such as honey, maple syrup, sparkling cider, apple pies, and more!
