Otterville Park and Pavilion

05

A building by the name of Crystal Place used to be at the center of Otterville Park. It was taken apart in 1924, and its parts were used to build a Pavilion. The Pavilion served as a place to host events and activities, including picnics, concerts and dancing! Today, the Pavilion also has tennis and basketball courts, a playground, a ball diamond, and a swimming pool.

The park’s entrance has a unique stone entranceway and a cannon to memorialize the park’s centennial since its settlement. In the stone entranceway, there is also a bronze plaque to honour the area’s World War 1 veterans.
