Watch the majestic falls (35 meters high) from the footbridge suspended 23 meters above the Chaudière River. You can also come here to hike and bike along the marked paths, have serene picnics, or even fish from mid-June to late March (permit required)! Parking is free but prohibited between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., a rule that most likely won’t affect you.
There is an Interpretation Center inside the reception building, where you can learn about the history of the site and the Amerindian camps that were discovered through archaeological excavations (which confirms the presence of nomadic groups from 8,000 years ago).
However far you choose to travel, and wherever you decide to take a break, you will always have a panoramic view that takes your breath away. The park is beautiful throughout the year, but it is especially enchanting during autumn when you are surrounded by bright reds, burnt oranges, and deep yellows.
