Parc des vétérans is an urban tribute to the brave hearts who have served Canada in the past, present and future. Representing world peace and Canada’s efforts, the park is home to 3 flags flailing side by side; the United Nations flag, the Canadian flag and the flag of Quebec. A commemorative plaque can also be found at the center, surrounded by a stone footpath for walkers and bollards that light up the space at night.
There are also many benches and seating areas spread across the lush rest stop for visitors to unwind in the peaceful space.
