Parc Fontaine-Claire

01

In the quaint village of Cacouna, nearby the river, there’s a place rich in history dedicated to picnics with friends and family and relaxation for your spirit. Many park benches facing the St.Lawrence river allow you to view the colourful, beautiful sunsets in Quebec. Many have said that this spot is quiet and perfect for relaxation.

Additionally, this park is near the reserve land of the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation. Believe it or not, this is the smallest Indigenous reserve in Canada!

There is a playground for children at the site, as well as a large overhead-covered area in case it rains. At low tide, you may walk into the cove and advance to the end of the point on foot as well! From here, you may see the mountains of Charlevoix.
