Lamure Beach is a beautiful sandy beach on the Ottawa River that stretches 150 metres.

The Riverbed drop-off is gradual, with no sharp drop-off within the buoy-lined swimming area. The beach is fine sand, good for sand castles. You can find a few clams on the sandy bottom of the river bed.

There is a picnic area with a covered gazebo. Near Deep River Marina, a boat launch is available.

This beach looks out on the Ottawa River and the Laurentians Lowlands on the Québec side and is surrounded by forest with its many trails. Downtown Deep River is a 10 min walk away. Look for bald eagles and berries during the warmer months.
