A fun-filled spot to spend the day with family and friends, the Plage Publique is a local recreational favourite. This beach is equipped with a variety of features. It includes a 375-meter open-water swimming area, a 15-by-15-meter swimming area, a shallow area for toddlers to swim, signs all over the park to help direct visitors, an inflatable water course and a sandbox. Lifeguards are also present to ensure swimmers’ safety on the beach.

Other amenities include seasonal bathrooms, an outdoor shower, free parking, picnic areas with tables and a water fountain. The beach also has a marina where visitors can rent water sports equipment like canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and paddleboards. Visitors are also welcome to bring their equipment to use at the beach.
