You can access this scenic trail from downtown Canmore, near the Big Head sculpture. Follow a 3.9-km boardwalk that runs alongside Policeman’s Creek. You’ll pass ponds with swimming ducks and forested areas with songbirds singing.
This is an easy route that works for all skill levels, but since the boardwalk connects with the town’s trail system, you can switch to a more ambitious route if you have the gumption.
