Port Carling Wall

This attraction is a must-see if you’re in the Port Carling Area. Typically referred to as “The Wall,” this 111 by 45-foot mural comprises 9028 pictures that create an image of the RMS Sagamo boat passing through the Port Carling locks from the 1920s.

The Wall is just steps from the town, where many local restaurants, shops and activities keep you busy. There are also stunning views of the waterway.

Muskoka Lakes Museum

From the outside, this museum looks like a small, quaint cabin tucked amongst lush foliage, but there are tons to learn about and see inside the Muskoka Lakes Museum.

Guests can browse a selection of artifacts from the region’s rich history and learn more about industries like pine logging and agriculture from Muskoka.

The staff are knowledgeable, and the facilities are well kept.

Sunset Cruises

If you have the chance to spend some time in Port Carling, Sunset Cruises are a must-do. The sunset cruise takes place on a restored 75-year-old boat, and the passionate and knowledgeable crew will tell you all about the town’s history.

Windermere Golf and Country Club

The Windermere Golf and Country Club is one of Muskoka’s most famous golf courses. The grounds are kept in terrific condition, and the staff are helpful and passionate.

Guests also love to visit the restaurant and browse the impressive collection of equipment at the pro shop.
