The museum was opened in 1760 by the Acadien fugitives of New Brunswick who escaped deportation. This museum is a hub of history and will take you back in time with its centuries-old buildings such as the Pavillon Orleans express, a former furniture store which displays the work of artist Marcel Arsenault, Pavillon Evangeline, a former forge turned gallery, Gospel chapel that is home to a food shop that specializes in local delicacies and many more.
