Calling all the history lovers! The Quebec Acadian Museum in Bonaventure is the perfect destination for people interested in the intriguing history of Acadians of Quebec and the preservation of history through live performances, great exhibitions and more.

The museum was opened in 1760 by the Acadien fugitives of New Brunswick who escaped deportation. This museum is a hub of history and will take you back in time with its centuries-old buildings such as the Pavillon Orleans express, a former furniture store which displays the work of artist Marcel Arsenault, Pavillon Evangeline, a former forge turned gallery, Gospel chapel that is home to a food shop that specializes in local delicacies and many more.
