The Niagara Falls International Rainbow Bridge, commonly known as the Rainbow Bridge, is an arch bridge across the Niagara River gorge. It connects the cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, and Niagara Falls, New York, United States.
In November 1941, the official opening of the Rainbow Bridge took place. It was built near the site of the earlier Honeymoon Bridge, which collapsed in 1938 due to an ice jam in the river.
