Outdoor

This beautiful wildlife sanctuary has one of the biggest concentrations of moose in the country, counting more than 4,000 moose! Individuals can engage in an observation activity with a guide, learning more about this beautiful animal and its habitat. Visitors can also fish at their leisure in one of the many lakes found in the eight sectors of the wildlife reserve. Furthermore, guests can partake in some hunting in specific locations on the grounds.

Other activities that can be enjoyed at this location include hiking trails, kayaking and canoeing, cycling, and much more! Nevertheless, there are certainly plenty of breathtaking landscapes to be seen! Many lodgings are found on-site to accommodate everyone, letting people immerse themselves in nature. The cabins come with a kayak that can be taken on the waters and a barbeque to cook food. Enjoy some fun outdoor activities and see the sights the Réserve Faunique de Matane offers!
