The Réserve naturelle du Marais-Léon-Provancher is owned by à la Société Provancher (the Provancher Society), which is a charitable organization that is involved in nature conservation. This nature reserve stretches along the St. Lawrence River and Route 138. Open every day, all year, and accessible for free. There is no better place to go if you want to get lost in nature (not lost, of course—there are cross-marked trails to help you easily navigate).
There are forests, wastelands, streams, and riverbanks. This means there is plenty to explore, and even if you visit every day, there will be new things to see and discover each time. Depending on when you go, the palette of the landscape may change, but the scenery will always be beautiful—and you will never feel anything short of content.
