Robson Bight Ecological Reserve

07

This reserve was created to protect key habitats for killer whales in 1982. Approximately 200 killer whales (orcas) travel through this area annually. Motorized boats are not allowed in the area, but whale-watching tours are allowed to travel around the borders.

You also may have the chance to see Pacific gray whales, cougars, California sea lions, grizzly and black bears, and many more. If you are looking to view animals in their natural habitat, surrounded by the rugged coastal beauty of Vancouver Island, this is the place to go.
