Parc national de la Yamaska

Parc national de la Yamaska is a provincial park with many outdoor activities. The park borders the Choinière reservoir, perfect for enjoyers of water sports and activities. On the water, there is swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and boating all available for visitors to participate in. Along with watersports, the park also offers camping, hiking, wildlife observation, beach volleyball, and bike paths. There are also many ready-to-camp pitches set up and ready to rent for visitors.

La Campagnarde

La Campagnarde is a biking trail that runs through Roxton Pond, Roxton Falls, Acton Vale, Warden, Waterloo, Drummondville, Foster, and Saint-Theodore-d’Acton. The trail was built upon a former railway line and is significant as it connects the tourist regions of the center of Quebec to the Eastern Regions and Monteregie. The bike path has many different changes in scenery and landscapes. Certain path sections have interpretive signs on the side, instructing passersby about a certain section’s heritage and environment.

Argouseraie Quénébro

Argouserai Quenebro is a 106-acre buckthorn farm that specializes in growing sea buckthorn. The farm comprises 7500 sea buckthorn plants and is maintained by master growers. Visitors are offered guided tours to be educated on the plant’s benefits, geography and history. Tastings are also provided on the terms. Along with the farm, Argouseraie Quenebro also has multiple hiking and biking trails located next to the farm. The 8km hiking trails surround two lakes, and hikers can observe many diverse ecosystems while on the trail.

Vignoble La Manse

Vignoble La Manse is a vineyard containing 6 hectares of land with 25000 grape vines. The vineyard offers a very well-curated selection of wines. Tastings are provided on-site, along with charcuterie boards and fine cheeses. La Manse also contains relaxation areas where visitors can sit down and enjoy the scenery with wine and cheese. In addition to the vineyards and shops, Vignoble La Manse also has a 2.5km hiking trail surrounding it. Hikers can see the unique wildflowers and berries that bloom on the hike.

Glac’o Folie

Glac’o Folie is a gourmet, specialty ice cream shop located in the center of Roxton Pond. The shop has the largest cones and ice cream selection in the region. Products include brownies, different specialty flavours of ice cream, blizzards, sorbet, lactose-free ice creams, and many more. Glac’o Folie also has a covered terrace for visitors to relax and sit down while they enjoy their ice cream or sweet goods.

Cidrerie Milton

Cidrerie Milton is a gourmet cider boutique roughly 10 minutes from the center of Roxton Pond. The cider has a bar and a shop featuring a wide selection of ciders. When in season, visitors can participate in apple picking in the cidery’s orchards. Other than ciders, Cidrerie Milton also offers a gourmet shop with pastries and pies and a bistro with savoury sandwiches and meats. For children and people who don’t drink, the cider also offers apple must and a variety of juices.

Zoo de Granby

Zoo de Granby is a zoo located roughly 10 minutes from Roxton Pond. The zoo features the most significant zoological garden in Quebec, with more than 1500 animals exhibited. Presentations are also held frequently, with visitors able to attend 20 presentations by zookeepers or educators.

Zoo de Granby also offers an amusement and water park on-site. The amusement park features bumper cars, ferris wheels, and carousels. The water park has large water slides, palm trees, lounge chairs, and beaches, and it is perfect for a family getaway.

Centre d’InterprĂ©tation de la Nature du Lac Boivin

Centre d’Interpretation de la Nature du Lac Boivin is a nature conservation organization to educate visitors on nature appreciation and preservation. The center has many trails that lead visitors through the preserved wetlands. The trails add up to 9.7km, cross footbridges, and allow visitors to climb two observation towers. In the winter, some of these trails turn into cross-country skiing trails and will be closed to hikers.
