Ruscom Shores is one of two natural marshlands on Essex County’s north shoreline. Visitors can explore the 120 acres of natural beauty recently designated an Environmentally Significant Area.
Within the conservation area is a well-maintained trail for visitors to explore. The marshes are full of waterfowl and prairie plants.
Just a 5-minute drive from Stoney Point, the area supports several activities year-round, including biking, birdwatching, picnics, hiking and cross-country skiing. There is something to do for everyone.
