Le Parc Historique de la Poudriere de Windsor

Le Parc Historique de la Poudriere de Windsor is a park dedicated to the oldest black powder manufacturing plant in Quebec. The park has more than 20km of hiking trails open all four seasons and many picnic areas. By walking through the trails, visitors can see the relics of the black powder manufacturing plant. The park also offers many unique animals and ecosystems with audio guides describing the different attractions.

Parc de l’Etang Burbank

Parc de l’Etang Burbank is a nature conservation area just outside of Saint-Claude. The site contains more than 220 species of birds and 19 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles. Vegetation is also unique and very beautiful, with over 1500 different kinds of plant species living here. The site also contains 2.6km of interpretive trails, a beaver hut observation center, three observation towers, rest areas, and a playground. Open all year round; Parc de l’Etang Burbank is perfect for nature and outdoor lovers.

Club De Golf Royal Estrie

Club De Golf Royal Estrie is a golf course located around 15 minutes away from Saint-Claude. The course contains 18 holes with more than 7000 yards of playing space. The course is appropriate for all golfers and has a spectacular view. The golf course is also an excellent place to relax and observe the surroundings, with two terraces in the clubhouse for visitors.

Plantations Stephan Perreault is a farm offering many pick-your-own events. Each season, visitors are welcome to pick specific plants and vegetables grown at the farm. La Cantonnière

La Cantonniere is a mountain biking trail located approximately 15 minutes from Saint-Claude. The main trail is around 12km long and is within a large network of cycling trails roughly 57km long. The main trail is appropriate for bikers of all skill levels, with nothing too complex or steep. Perfect for family outings, everyone can relax and take in the nature surrounding the path.

Lac Boissonneault

Lac Boissonneault is a large lake located less than 10 minutes from Saint-Claude. There are many activities on the lake, including swimming, boating, fishing/ice fishing, ice skating, and cross-country skiing. Visitors can also sit and relax next to the lake, with the beautiful sunset. Besides the lake, there are many campsites and lodge rentals for visitors who want to stay more than one day.
