Taureau Lake Cruises

Set sail aboard a fly boat and choose among three thematic cruises that will make you discover Lac Taureau through its history, nature, and breathtaking landscapes. The boat is fully windowed to give you a 360-degree panoramic view at all times. This is a great way to explore the history and natural beauty of the area.

Discover the Sentier de l’île du Village (Village Island Trail) and the tragic history of Saint-Ignace-du-Lac. This village disappeared under the water when the Taureau reservoir was created in 1931. Interpretation panels are installed throughout the trail to help you discover the island’s history. Access to the island is by boat only, with the fly boat being one of the easiest ways to access the island.
