The Seal Island Museum has lighthouse artifacts from Barrington and the surrounding area. The museum itself is a replica of the upper portion of the Seal Island Lighthouse, with an iron lantern at the top that was taken off the tower in 1978. Initially, to be moved to Ottawa, the community of Barrington advocated to keep it, and it was returned to the town via helicopter. Visitors can take the stairs up to the top and see the original clock and the Fresnel lens.
