Sentier de la Grotte des Fées

06

From mid-June to late September

Le Sentier de la Grotte des Fées is located 6 km within the forest, proposing a hike of intermediate difficulty to witness the beautiful sights at the top. The name of this location is based on a legend, where the face of a fairy could be seen within the water vapours of the waterfall. Back in the days, rumours say it was a popular spot for clandestine meetings and seasonal hunts. Additionally, the caves and rock cavities have been around for over 500 million years. Nevertheless, it has seen its share of history!

During their hike, visitors can find various informative panels about the fauna and flora of the region. The twisting caves lead the way to a canyon and waterfall area, with many observation points along the way. The forest and streams make for a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by the beauty of nature. The views of all these natural formations will take your breath away. Whether you’re an avid hiker or want to witness its glory, the Sentier de la Grotte des Fées awaits you!
